Resumen

This article explores the struggles of the Miskitu Nation in Central America, focusing on displacement, mistreatment, and their ongoing fight for autonomy and rights against oppressive regimes. It tells the story of a Miskitu indigenous princess living in exile for over fifty years, advocating for her people's freedom and sovereignty amid historical oppression by Nicaragua and Honduras. It also details the atrocities faced by the Miskitu people in the Moskitia region, including killings, kidnappings, and environmental damage caused by illegal activities. It highlights the displacement and human rights violations suffered by the Miskitu Nation, emphasizing the urgent need for political self-determination, recognition, and respect for their cultural heritage.
