Abstract
This article reviews Robin Wall Kimmerer’s book Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of the Plants. The book highlights Indigenous ways of knowing as essential complements to scientific knowledge, advocating for a worldview that recognizes kinship and mutual respect between humans and the natural environment.
