Abstract
“Wayra and the Dream Snake” is a short story that explores dreams, illness, ancestral healing, and Indigenous understandings of the body through the journey of a young nurse in the Amazon. Blending magical realism and traditional medicine, the narrative reflects on vocation, memory, and spiritual transformation.
